Accessibility statement
This statement covers quantumcraft.uk, the blog included. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. The site meets most of it, and the gaps we know about are listed below. If something on the site gets in your way, email contact@quantumcraft.uk.
Last reviewed
Partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 AA
Partially conformant means that most of the site meets the standard and some parts do not yet. The parts that fall short are listed under known limitations.
What we tested
We tested the site ourselves on 28 September 2026, on the homepage, the contact, pricing, security and accessibility pages, the three service pages, how we work, about, the case studies and the blog.
Keyboard
Every page's navigation, the Services menu, the mobile menu, the contact form and the cookie banner, using Tab, Shift and Tab, Enter, Space, the arrow keys and Escape. Focus stays visible throughout, and a skip link leads to the main content.
Screen-reader semantics
Headings, landmarks, form labels and the state of menus and choices (expanded, current, checked), read from the browser's accessibility tree. Images carry alt text, and decorative ones are hidden from assistive technology.
Colour contrast
Text and controls against the WCAG AA contrast ratios, on the light pages and the dark sections, checked with axe-core and by hand.
Reduced motion
With your device's reduce-motion setting on, scroll animations and the highlighter's draw-in are switched off, and no content depends on them.
Zoom and reflow
Pages reflow at 320 CSS pixels wide without scrolling sideways, apart from the wide tables and code samples noted below, and text can be enlarged in the browser.
Where the site falls short
- Screenshots in the case studies are pictures of software we built. Each has alt text describing what it shows, but the words inside a screenshot cannot be read by a screen reader or enlarged with the page's text.
- Two case studies, TIYO and the B2B logistics marketplace, show indicative screens drawn with sample data. They are pictures, hidden from screen readers, and some of their small labels fall below the contrast the rest of the site meets.
- On a narrow screen, wide tables and code samples in blog posts scroll sideways inside their own box rather than reflowing. Each box takes keyboard focus, so the arrow keys scroll it.
- We have checked screen-reader semantics, not full journeys with a screen reader such as NVDA, JAWS or VoiceOver.
- The contact form needs JavaScript. Without it, email us instead.
